INTERMAT, PARIS 2024

Date: 24 April 2024 - 27 April 2024

Location: Paris-Nord Villepinte, France

Additional: Hall 5B, Stand E155

With many of its solutions designed in partnership with some of the world’s leading off-highway vehicle OEMs, Curtiss-Wright Industrial Division will use its INTERMAT stand to showcase a continued development of vehicle controllers, introduce updated sensor solutions, and continue to promote its commitment to vehicle electrification with its eMobility Solutions portfolio.

CONTROLLERS & HMI SOLUTIONS

Curtiss-Wright will be showcasing a number of components and sub-system solutions, including its CAN Actuator and all-new joystick controller handle.

Originally designed by Curtiss-Wright for transmissions from a leading OEM, the CAN Actuator is a drive-by-wire alternative to the typical push/pull cable mechanical shifter to rotate the shift shaft on a variety of on- and off-highway vehicle transmissions, with this next generation technology developed to be easily adapted for transmissions from other OEMs.

Designed with the expanding Telehandler market as a focus, the all-new joystick controller handle from Curtiss-Wright Industrial can be specified and fitted to the company’s JC8100 and JC6000, or as a stand-alone grip for more traditional hydraulic controlled machines. Available with 5V analog, CAN Open and CAN J1939 electrical interface options, it can be specified with up to five pushbuttons and two proportional rollers on the front plate, and a combination of pushbuttons, switches and rollers on the rear, with optional backlighting also available on the pushbuttons.

The company will also use its stand to promote its HMI capability and showcase solutions incorporating multiple functions that can be operated with the use of just one hand, or via finger or thumb activation.

SENSOR TECHNOLOGY

Curtiss-Wright is also unveiling an updated VTS2021 tilt sensor at the show. The dual-axis, vibration-tolerant tilt sensor offers an optimal combination of performance, safety and cost in dynamic applications, making it ideal for pitch and roll detection for industrial-vehicle applications, including mobile elevating work platforms.

VEHICLE ELECTRIFICATION TECHNOLOGY

Curtiss-Wright will also continue to promote its eMobility Solutions portfolio of power electronics, including its highly-efficient and innovative traction inverters (CWTIs) and latest generation of custom power distribution modules (PDMs).
