WWLP - Wirewound Rectilinear Potentiometers

Model LP1 is flange mounted and is available with stroke lengths from 0.5" to 6.0". Can be specified for use in temperatures up to 200°C and can be supplied with single or dual electrical output.

Model LP2 is supplied with self-aligning bearing mountings and is available with stroke lengths from 0.5" to 6.0". Can be specified for use in temperatures up to 200°C and can be supplied with single or dual electrical output.

Model LP6 is flange mounted and is fitted with a spring loaded shaft and ball ended probe, enabling the instrument to follow positional variations of the actuating medium without the need for attachment. Can be supplied in stroke lengths from 0.75" to 4.5".

Can be specified for use in temperatures up to 200°C and can be supplied with single or dual electrical output.

The resistive elements in all models, are wiped by twin noble metal wipers, each supported on a unique low rate spring frame, giving low contact noise and a working life of between 2.5- to 10-million operations, depending on options selected.

Penny & Giles wirewound rectilinear potentiometers may be operated in the variable resistor mode, with wiper currents up to 25mA, in addition to the normal voltage divider mode.
